Based on the analysis of legal literature and legislation regarding the appropriation and embezzlement of property in emergency situations in the Russian Federation, several judgments have been made: the appropriation of other people's property and the embezzlement of other people's property should be considered as independent forms of theft of other people's property; the appropriation of other people's property and the embezzlement of other people's property should be considered as varieties (forms) of fraud; embezzlement of other people's property and embezzlement of other people's property committed in territories where emergencies have been declared may be considered as aggravating circumstances of the crimes committed if they are qualified.
