The article examines the issues of the relationship between the spiritual and moral principles of Russian society and prosecutorial activity, as well as their influence on the formation of moral and legal qualities of the prosecutor's personality. It is substantiated that the formation of the prosecutor's personality is ensured by such aspects of spiritual, moral and legal principles as motivation, self-improvement, creative transformation, diverse verbal and non-verbal figurative and symbolic means in the form of semantic generalization, activities to implement the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of education and culture, adherence to traditions, moral and legal orientations and motivations of the Russian prosecutor's office, focus (purposefulness) on every possible promotion of the spirit of legality and justice in society. In their totality, they ensure the reproduction of prosecutorial activity in all its diversity. The provisions are substantiated according to which the figurative-symbolic prosecutorial activity is formed by the national (popular) spirit. In this sense, the figurative-symbolic prosecutorial activity is the property of the national culture of the Russian people. It also forms the essence of prosecutorial activity, ensuring its effectiveness and purposefulness on the path to strengthening Russian statehood (legality).
