The multifaceted relationship between religion and traditions in the North Caucasus is examined. It is emphasized that religion in the region is not a separate phenomenon but is deeply integrated into the culture and daily lives of ethnic groups, shaping their identity and worldview. The influence of Islam and Christianity on the formation of traditions, customs, and social norms is analyzed. Special attention is given to the contradictions that arise between religious dogmas and traditional practices in the context of modernization and globalization. The possibilities of harmonizing religious and cultural values to ensure the stability and sustainable development of the region are explored.
