The legal nature of administrative detention as a measure to ensure proceedings in cases of administrative offenses is examined, controversial issues of legal regulation are analyzed, problems in the implementation of this measure in practice are identified, and proposals are formulated on possible changes to individual legislative norms in the area under consideration.
