Анализ современного состояния преступлений, связанных с незаконным оборотом оружия, позволяет сделать вывод о постепенном снижении статистических показателей, их характеризующих. Однако, подобная тенденция указывает на высокую латентность криминального рынка оружия, поскольку данный вид преступной деятельности является одним из самых крупных и доходных сегментов преступного бизнеса. Более того, проблема нелегального оборота оружия в России, особенно в контексте текущей внешнеполитической обстановки, становится предметом острого научного интереса. В первую очередь, это связано с тем, что приграничные территории к Российской Федерации, где в настоящее время проводится специальная военная операция, становятся источниками незаконного оборота оружия и боеприпасов, что представляет собой одну из самых серьезных угроз для общественной безопасности и порядка в стране.
Analysis of the current state of crimes related to illegal arms trafficking allows us to conclude that the statistical indicators characterizing them are gradually decreasing. However, this trend indicates a high latency of the criminal arms market, as this type of criminal activity is one of the largest and most profitable segments of the criminal business. Moreover, the problem of illegal arms trafficking in Russia, especially in the context of the current foreign policy situation, is becoming a subject of acute scientific interest. First of all, this is due to the fact that the border territories to the Russian Federation, where a special military operation is currently underway, are becoming sources of illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition, which poses one of the most serious threats to public safety and order in the country.
