The motive of national enmity or hatred is now often manifested in crimes that infringe on the life and health of people of various nationalities. Migrants who are not always able to integrate into the cultural traditions of the country and cause negative attitudes from the indigenous population often become victims of such acts. The article identifies the main characteristics of migrants against whom crimes motivated by national hatred and hostility are committed. The purpose of the study is to identify the main socio–legal features of migrant victims of crimes committed with extremist motives in order to develop measures to prevent such acts.
