Instrumental methods of technical and criminalistic investigation of narcotic drugs are considered. Currently, the number of production and use of narcotic drugs has increased worldwide. The fight against this evil depends on the possibility of identifying these means. Detection of narcotic drugs, especially synthetic ones, requires the use of instrumental methods. The review of the most used methods is given: chromatography (liquid and gas), mass spectrometry, IR spectrometry, UV spectrometry.
