Modern 3D technologies are increasingly penetrating into all areas of our activities, and they are opening up new opportunities in forensic expertise, significantly expanding the possibilities for analyzing traces and objects. The introduction of such technologies into expert practice allows for increased accuracy, objectivity, and reliability of the results obtained. Explores the main possibilities and prospects for using 3D modeling in forensic science, portrait examination, and the examination and reconstruction of crime scenes. The results of this study provide insights into the potential for widespread adoption of 3D technologies in expert practice.
