The importance of administrative control in the economic sphere, as well as its impact on the development of entrepreneurship, is considered. Various functions of administrative control, its impact on business development and the socio-economic stability of the country are described. In addition, both positive aspects (reducing corruption, protecting the rights of consumers and workers, supporting macroeconomic stability) and negative aspects (corruption risks, reducing innovation activity) of the impact of this type of control on the economy are considered. Particular attention is paid to existing problems of administrative control, such as insufficient qualifications of personnel, low level of transparency and others. Solutions to these issues are proposed, including the introduction of digital platforms, improving the openness of control procedures, as well as improving the skills of employees. A conclusion is made about the need to improve administrative control for the stable growth of entrepreneurial activity and optimization of the work of state institutions.
