The phenomenon of juvenile extremism is considered as a complex and multidimensional phenomenon, which is not only a criminological, but also a socio-psychological problem. The causes, factors and forms of extremist behavior among young people are analyzed, and the destructive influence of ideologies of violence and intolerance on the personality formation of minors is emphasized. Special attention is paid to the role of information and communication technologies, in particular the Internet, in the dissemination of extremist materials and the involvement of young people in illegal activities.
