Abstract:
Analyses the peculiarities of photographing digital storage medium, which is considered one of the key aspects of capturing criminally significant information during forensic examination and other investigative activities. General rules for photographing all objects of digital forensic examination are highlighted. Rules for photographing frequently encountered digital storage medium during investigative activities such as crime scene inspection and forensic examination are provided. Recommendations are formulated on the use of methods of recording and investigative forensic photography when recording digital media.
