The possibility of introducing such a concept as military and economic support for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation into scientific circulation is being considered. Several approaches are proposed based on the analysis of legal definitions that reveal the provisions of military doctrine, war, military security, military and economic support for the defense of the state and a modern view of the processes of meeting military and economic needs both in the Armed Forces and in the defense sector of the country's economy.
