The norms of civil law that determine the specifics of the legal status of subjects of hereditary relations are analyzed. Special attention is paid to heirs who have the right to inherit, but who did not manage to accept it within the time limits established by law due to their death after the opening of the inheritance. The issues of legal regulation of the transfer of ownership rights within the framework of hereditary transmission are also being studied.
