Abstract:
The article discusses the main types of expert errors and their relationship to the lack of proper competence of a forensic expert. It also discusses the current methods of developing the competence of a forensic expert. The article substantiates the need for specialized fundamental education to develop the competence of an expert in a specific type of forensic examination.
