The article focuses on the key features of the development of the North Caucasian civilization from the 18th century to the February Revolution of 1917. This period was characterized by intense interaction between the peoples of the North Caucasus and the Russian Empire, as well as the processes of modernization, transformation of traditional social structures, and the formation of national identity under imperial influence. The article explores the political, economic, sociocultural, and religious aspects of the region's development, identifies the main factors that shaped its specific features, and analyzes the consequences of the North Caucasus’ incorporation into the Russian Empire. The main goal of this article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the features of the North Caucasian civilization during the period under consideration, identifying its key characteristics and development trends.
