The author’ understanding of digital reality and its use to protect the rights of citizens is provided; threats are presented to ensure social guarantees of citizens; individual types of crimes and basic regulations governing their responsibility are indicated; a number of specific proposals were formulated to improve the mechanisms for protecting social rights in the context of digital transformation.
