It examines the relationship between the activities of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia) and the provision of socio-economic human rights and freedoms. Based on the analysis of the current legislation and judicial practice, it is proved that the constitutional mandate of the Bank of Russia to ensure the stability of the national currency is not only a macroeconomic function, but also a key tool for protecting the rights of citizens. A comparative analysis is carried out with the mandate of the European Central Bank (ECB), as well as the impact of specific measures of the Bank of Russia on the competitive environment and consumer rights.
