The article is devoted to the study of the success of the service activities of criminal investigation officers of internal affairs bodies in special conditions. The results of the empirical study of the problem under study are presented, in which, through the methods of mathematical modeling, a structural model of a «successful» employee, mathematical models of the success of the implementation of professionally important qualities and operational and service functions by employees are developed.
