The article examines the influence of clip thinking on the professional activities of employees of the internal affairs bodies (ATS). The main characteristics of this phenomenon, which arose as a result of adaptation to the conditions of digitalization of society, as well as the increased amount of information and its impact on cognitive processes and decision-making of police officers, are described.
