A comprehensive criminological analysis of the current state and key vectors of juvenile delinquency in the Russian Federation is being carried out. Based on official statistics and the results of scientific research, stable quantitative and qualitative transformations in the structure and nature of illegal activities of persons under the age of majority are identified and examined in detail. The determinants of these negative trends are systematized, among which socio-economic problems, the spread of destructive content in the Internet information and telecommunications network, a high level of latency in juvenile delinquency and the rejuvenation of the delinquent population are the key ones. In the final part, a comprehensive, multi-level approach to improving the prevention system is formulated, including socio-economic, legal, educational and organizational measures. Special emphasis is placed on the need for early detection of family problems, strengthening the role of legal education, neutralizing the influence of criminal subculture and consolidating the efforts of all subjects of preventive activities.
