The article discusses active recovery methods as an integral component of the physical training system for cadets and students of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Modern approaches to the use of active recovery methods in the process of professional and applied physical training are analyzed, as well as their impact on the functional state and dynamics of students' physical fitness. Particular attention is paid to justifying the feasibility of including active recovery methods in the training process, taking into account the specifics of the official activities of internal affairs officers. The authors propose promising directions for improving the physical training system for cadets and students of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs through the rational use of active recovery methods.
