Abstract:
Discusses issues related to the methods of applying information marks on industrial-made products that have become the focus of police officers' attention during investigative actions and forensic examinations. The article provides basic concepts related to this area of research and proposes an author's classification of known methods of applying information marks for uniform use by law enforcement agencies. The article is a continuation of a previously conducted study, «Information Markings on Objects of Forensic Significance: Basic Concepts and Classification of Types», which suggests that information markings include labeling, stamp impressions, and certain decorative elements.
