COUNTERING CYBERCRIME THROUGH THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract:
There is a multidirectional trend in the development of practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of cybercrime evolution. One, reflecting the negative side of modern technologies, has found active application in the intensification of criminal activity, ensuring the penetration of AI achievements in the field of preparation and realization of cybercrimes. Another positive trend contributes to improving the work of law enforcement agencies in uncovering, investigating and preventing cybercrimes. From the variety of available aspects, the direction of substantiating criminological, managerial, and regulatory-technological solutions is highlighted, taking into account their features due to the developing practice of using AI to reduce the severity of cybercrime.
