The relevance of this topic is due to the rapid digitalization of all areas of public life and the emergence of new, high-tech forms of crime that pose a direct threat to national security. The purpose of this research is to develop a conceptual model of competencies and the structure of professional training for specialists based on a systematic interdisciplinary approach. As a result of the study, the author identified and described in detail the key groups of specialists in the structure of law enforcement agencies, determined the goals and objectives of their pedagogical training, and formulated an expanded system of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Special attention is paid to the formation of a professional and ethical culture of behavior in the information space. The article substantiates the need to combine in-depth technical training with fundamental legal knowledge and the development of forensic thinking. In conclusion, it is concluded that effective training of personnel to counter cyber threats is possible only on the basis of close integration of departmental science, educational organizations, and the practical activities of law enforcement agencies, as stipulated by the Concept of the Scientific and Technical Policy of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs until 2030.
