Abstract:
The article is devoted to crop production as part of the agro-industrial complex, which is one of the fundamental spheres of material production, which is the basis of society’s existence in terms of meeting people’s biological needs for food and developing social productive forces. The article discusses methodological issues, the problems of which are related to the statistical analysis of crop production development in conjunction with the processes of concentration of production, deepening regional specialization and increasing the influence of socio-economic factors determining access to resources, investments and sales markets.
