The results of the study describing the nature of the manifestation of emotional response among cadets and students of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are presented. It is shown that at present the theoretical and practical study of the issues of internal regulation of adaptive behavior of the individual has a high social significance, since it acts as one of the most important indicators of the professionalism of police officers. In the course of the study, the presence of psychological variables from among the personal properties that influence the manifestations of emotional response was established.
