The relevance and advantages of innovative methods in educational work with cadets and students of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Ya. Kikot’ are highlighted. An in-depth analysis of the concept of «socio-cultural environment» is carried out, demonstrating, on the basis of existing practice, how it manifests and is implemented within the university space. Attention is focused on the critical importance of resource provision, the formation of a suitable educational and socio-cultural atmosphere, as well as the introduction of modern technological solutions in the educational process. Effective coordination of the actions of various structural units of the university is considered as a key element of the successful implementation of work programs and educational strategies.
