The issues related to the qualification of a terrorist act and its difference from the deterioration of life support facilities are considered. Information is provided on the signs of terrorist acts committed, including at life support facilities, and statistical information on crimes provided for in Articles 205, 215.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, on the basis of which it is concluded that some difficulties in qualifying the crimes under consideration and the need to develop proposals for their qualification.
