An analysis of crowdfunding activities and activities to attract investments using investment platforms through the issuance of utilitarian digital rights was carried out. Conclusions are drawn about the similarity of legal relations that arise in these areas and the need to extrapolate the legal status of the operator of the investment platform to the operator of the crowdfunding service, mechanism of legal regulation and its compliance with regulated legal relations.
