For several years, the problem of corruption has been very relevant. Over the past five years, the number of registered corruption-related crimes has increased by 15 %. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that many corruption facts are not reflected in official statistics, since corruption is characterized by a high level of latency. Based on the existing problems of combating corruption, the state applies a number of preventive measures of a socio-legal orientation: in 2020 Federal Law No. 259-FZ «On Digital Financial Assets, Digital Currency and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation» was adopted; Federal Law No. 44-FZ entered into force in 2022, which amended the Federal Laws «On Banks and Banking Activities» and «On Combating Corruption»; In 2022, the President of the Russian Federation signs Decree No. 232 «On the State information system in the field of anti-corruption "Poseidon» and amendments to Certain Acts of the President of the Russian Federation». The modern view of the adoption of the state information system «Poseidon» in order to combat corruption in the process of digitalization is considered. Based on the conducted research, it is concluded that the Poseidon system will very effectively affect the overall picture of the corruption component in Russia. It is proposed to use the Poseidon system in conjunction with the blockchain system.
