The main directions and features of the activities of the operational units of the department of internal affairs for the identification, suppression and disclosure of crimes related to illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, are being considered. The causes and conditions of crimes are analyzed and ways of solving problems related to drug crime are proposed.
