The legal issues of the interaction of the police on water transport with other public authorities in ensuring transport security are being considered. In the course of the study, the peculiarities of the interaction of the police at water transport facilities with state authorities in the field of ensuring transport security as one of the types of national security of the country were revealed. Attention is focused on the shortcomings of the legal regulation of the interaction of these bodies in ensuring transport security, which makes it difficult to implement the tasks and functions assigned to the police.
