This article demonstrates the positive experience of the State traffic inspectorate of the Moscow region in the prevention of traffic safety on the road network of the region, achieved in 2010‒2020. The application of methods of system analysis and statistical modeling and forecasting for the prevention of traffic safety, the formed and practically implemented preventive measures that prevent traffic accidents are demonstrated. The activity of the Center for automatic fixation of administrative offenses is shown. New approaches to the implementation of traffic safety propaganda are demonstrated. The effective use of the possibilities of providing high-tech medical care to victims of road accidents by military hospitals located in the Moscow region is shown.
