The problems of the legal status of men in the Golden Horde are touched upon through the prism of the norms and customs of the Mongols. The features of the legal status of the male gender group in the aspect of family, marriage and kinship ties of the Jochi Ulus are shown. With the help of a retrospective analysis, he demonstrated that during this period the rights of men within the framework of marital and family ties were not hypertrophied, corresponding to the paradigm of socio-economic development of the state.
