The controversial issues of ensuring social guarantees for employees of internal affairs bodies when providing additional leave for an irregular working day are being considered. The legislation concerning the legal grounds for granting additional leave for an irregular working day to employees who fill the positions of managers (chiefs) from among the positions of senior commanding staff is being analyzed. Based on the analysis obtained, the existing problems and ways to solve them are highlighted.
