The article presents a comprehensive analysis of global practices of implementing partner (Islamic) financing in 14 countries: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Singapore, Thailand, Great Britain, Germany, France and Luxembourg. The study identifies four main clusters of countries: the complete Islamization of the banking sector, the integration of Sharia law and sustainable finance, countries of catching-up growth, and countries of partnership finance formation. Separately, the synergy of Islamic finance and the ESG agenda is being explored, which is becoming a powerful driver of growth and attracting a new type of investors. Based on the collected data, conclusions are drawn about the key success factors and the main challenges facing the industry, which makes it possible to assess its prospects in the context of the global search for ethical and sustainable financial solutions.
