Issues related to the essence, content and regulatory regulation of the information security of minors are considered. The impact of the media and information and telecommunication networks on the health and psychological development of minors is analyzed. Proposals have been formulated to improve administrative and legal measures to ensure the safety of minors in the information environment. It is reflected that the official statistics of law enforcement agencies indicate the annual identification of thousands of violations, including those signaling the growing availability of extremist, narcotic and other dangerous information for children.
