The issues of migration crime and its prevention are investigated. The author showed the structure and dynamics of migration crime. Based on the analysis of migration, criminal legislation and other regulatory legal acts of the Government of Russia and the subjects of the Russian Federation, the author noted some measures related to the prevention of migration crimes. The results of the implementation of migration policy aimed at crime prevention in this area are presented
