In order to develop conceptual approaches to ensuring the security of the activities of law enforcement agencies in modern Russia, including taking into account the content of the Law of the Russian Federation on the amendment to the Constitution of the Russian Federation dated March 14, 2020. No. 1-FKZ «On improving the regulation of certain issues of the organization and functioning of public authority» analyzes the provisions of federal legislation, individual strategic planning documents containing the terms «law enforcement agencies», as well as existing approaches in domestic legal science to the criteria for systematization of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation, addresses certain problematic issues of methodology and conceptual apparatus.
