The detection and disclosure of theft committed using malicious software requires an effective counteraction system that includes operational and tactical methods for searching and recording operationally relevant information. Among such methods, all types of operational investigative measures provided for by law should be mentioned. A special place in this system is occupied by such operational search activities as «obtaining computer information». However, the content of this event requires significant refinement at the legislative level, and the process of its implementation requires an increase in the level of competence of operational staff in this area.
