Abstract:
To the criminological aspect of ensuring peace and security of mankind. The paper briefly describes the history of the development of ideas for finding a peaceful solution to armed conflicts. The contribution of the Hague Conferences to the creation and development of international institutions (the League of Nations, later the United Nations), which in the course of their activities contributed to ensuring peace and peaceful development of mankind, was noted. As a result of the research, the author outlines specific proposals aimed at expanding the functions of the United Nations and its institutions, as well as the adoption of certain measures aimed at ensuring peace and security of mankind throughout the world and in individual states.
