Examines the problems of illegal migration, a global phenomenon that poses a serious problem for many countries, including the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the RF). The influx of illegal migrants can lead to depletion of resources, disruption of social cohesion and pose a threat to the security of the State as a whole. Operational police units (hereinafter referred to as OPU) play a crucial role in countering illegal migration, as they are responsible for identifying, investigating and uncovering the fact of a criminal act and expelling illegal migrants from the territory of the Russian Federation.
