Considers the circular model of economic security of an organization as a promising approach to sustainable development in the context of resource constraints and environmental challenges. The key principles of the circular model aimed at increasing resource efficiency, diversification of supply, risk management, technological development, cooperation and social responsibility are presented. The benefits of implementing the circular model are described, such as reduced import dependency, resource savings, increased resilience to crises and improved reputation. Special attention is paid to the circular approach to economic security as a systemic and preventive way to ensure sustainable development based on the principles of circular economy. The classification of the circular approach to economic security by attributes is presented, and its relevance in the context of resource constraints, climate change, economic instability, consumption growth and competitiveness is justified. It is concluded that the circular approach to economic security is a promising direction of development of the economic system, which allows to ensure its sustainability, competitiveness and environmental security in the context of global challenges.
