The urgency of protecting minors from destructive information is quite high, since in the modern world, where technology has taken a leading position in human life, including children, replacing not only live communication with people, but also transferring a person's entire life to the Internet space. The information environment affects the upbringing of children, because they spend a lot of time in networks. Family, parents are the most important responsible in the upbringing of children. Their role in protecting minors from any threats, including the information environment, is undeniably great. However, parents alone will not be able to cope with this problem. This study analyzes the opinion of parents about their role in protecting minors from destructive information, their attitude to the measures taken by the state and educational organizations aimed at this protection. The opinion of parents about the need to improve such measures, as well as the conduct of training activities, is analyzed.
