This article discusses a new approach to understanding the self-concept, taking into account self-efficacy and self-government. Identification of such subsystems is based on the theory of personal potential and socio-cognitive theory of learning. The relevance of the topic is determined by the fact that the self-concept is considered as a structure that directly influences professional activity. In this article, the author deviates from the classical presentation of the self-concept with the real self, the ideal self and the mirror self identified in it, proposing to additionally consider the subsystems of self-attitude, self-government and self-efficacy. This theoretical model is based on the synthesis of various scientific theories that exist in this field.
