Last years, Russia's foreign policy has been marked by a vector to the East. China plays a special role in this issue. The desire to get to know your interlocutor better is quite natural. By now, psychology's interest in the Chinese ethnic group is clearly marked. The following points have been reflected in scientific research: the peculiarities of the ethnic identity of Chinese youth, the determinants of aggression of Chinese students, image about happiness and the picture of the life path of Chinese representatives have been studied. In philosophy, the personality traits and traditional values of Chinese youth were studied. The linguistic picture of the world was considered in relation to perception and moral values. The socio-cultural features of Russian-Chinese relations have been studied in political science. It should be noted the interest of the scientific community in the study of China, the desire to understand the characteristics of personality, the specifics of perception, taking into account ethnic characteristics. The study of the image of the world in the personality structure of Russian and Chinese students seems to us the most promising scientific research.
