Abstract:
In order to ensure personal safety and in case of necessity to apply physical coercive measures to an offender, a police officer who takes up service to protect public order is equipped with special means of active defense, which must know and be able to apply in practice. The question of the relevance of their availability and effectiveness of their use is aggravated by the insufficient level of training of some representatives of law enforcement agencies, who are involved in patrols and pass regime during special events or reinforcement. On the example of a special stick the analysis of the problem is carried out, which reveals possible ways of its solution.
