A comprehensive analysis of the institute of licensing in the current legal system of the Russian Federation, as well as a number of problems of the institution under consideration, is carried out. Special attention is paid to the problems of legal technology, existing and emerging legal gaps in connection with the development of public relations, as well as the practice of implementing the norms of this institution and related institutions.
