The constitutional values in the doctrine of constitutional law and the practice of constitutional justice, which determines the essence of the modern Russian state, are being examined. The authors note that constitutional values consist of the unity of various components, among which spiritual and moral ones are of particular importance. The article analyzes constitutional values, gives their characteristics, and substantiates their role in the modern constitutional doctrine of a democratic state.
