Abstract:
The article is devoted to the scientific understanding of the final stage of the investigator’s activity during the preliminary investigation. The authors analyze the available scientific approaches and note the lack of proper legal regulation of the procedural category «completion of the preliminary investigation». It is proposed to supplement the criminal procedural legislation (Article 5 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation) with the wording of the end of the preliminary investigation.
